Too much importance is given to taking exams at school. Do you agree?

I desagree with the statement that says too much importance is given to taking exxams at school. In my opinion, it's a stupid thing which teachers want to do.

On the one hand, you can have a bad day when you have to do an exam and, because of that, you'll have a bad mark. furthermore, in my experience, sometimes I have studied an exam and, after that, I had a bad mark.

On the other hand , you can have a very good day and have a good mark. All of them arguments want to say the exam's mark doesn't show if you have studied or not.
Moreover, there are some teachers who put a difficult exam so that the pupils don't past it. I met some of them.

Finally, taking exams at school is not good for pupils's live because it cause nerves.

• Observing your portfolio, can you see an improvement on your level of Enlish since September 2007? Where, for example? yes, of course! Because If we do this blogger, we have to do a lot of writings and it's good for us. We learn a lot of vocabulary and expresions. But It's a lot of work! I don't find any example, because all (almost all) of thing I have put in my portfolio, the teacher had correct before.
• Which activity best shows your level of English? the writings in class, because we can't search a new words in a dictionary and we write all that we know.
• Which activities were really useful for you to improve your English? Why? the oral presentations, because we have to search a lot of vocabulary.
• Which activities did you not find useful to learn English? Potcast Why not? because I don't learn anything. Only, I have spend time to put it in my portfolio.
• Which activities did you enjoy doing and would like to do again next year? Watching films, listening songs, watching oral presentations to the others...

about my 3rd oral presentation

Well, I didn't like how I did my 3rd oral presentation, because I was very nervous and they could with me.

On the other hand, some of the pupils got on me's nerves; they didn't stop talking.

When I started my oral presenation, I watched a lot of times my paper where said all I have to say (well, the more importants points).

However, in the second part. I wasn't as nervious as the beginning.

But I think I have improved because when I did my first oral presentation about my family I was more and more and more nervous than last day.
